General preparations :
First install the filters that you did not have, before you open PSP !!
Open your tubes in PSP, duplicate them and close the originals.
Do not forget to remove the watermarks on the copies.

Tubes :

Choose a tube of a woman's face with bright hair color or ribbons, flowers, hat, etc.
! Preferably do not use a misted tube !

Alpha Selections : open  in PSP and minimize
1/ BL73_KaD_Alfakanaal   (this image is not empty – it contains alpha selections)

Masks : open  in PSP and minimize

Color palette :
If you work with your own colors, make your own color palette with the alpha channel,
so you can easily switch between your colors.

There are color differences in the different versions of Psp.
Therefore, use the html codes of the color palette to be sure,
that you have the same colors. Also when merging layers, there may be color differences.

THE TUTORIAL

When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

From now on I use the terms "MIRROR" and "FLIP" again.
Mirror: Mirror horizontal - Flip: Mirror vertical

Let’s get started.
Remember to save your work often.
Some print screens have other colors than the original.

Colors :

Make your own color palette first, so you can easily switch between your colors.
For this use the Alpha Color palette-6 in the materials.

Foreground: Color 1 = light color from your tube
Background: Color 2 = dark contrasting color from your tube
Foreground gradient: Linear – see PS

Open the alpha channel : BL73_KaD_Alfakanaal   
Window – Duplicate
Minimize the  original – we continue on the copy

Fill with Gradient
Effecten – Graphics Plus – Button Beveler II – see PS

Effects – Image effects – Seamless Tiling– see PS

Effects – Edge effects – Enhance more

Layers – Duplicate (Copy of Raster 1)
Image – Resize: 65%, all layers NOT checked
Effects – Image effects – Seamless Tiling – Change Direction to Horizontal

Select all – selection Float – selection defloat
Adjust – Blur – Radial blur – see PS

Plugins – AP 01 [Innovations] – Lines – Silverlinging – Dotty Grid – see PS

Change Foreground gradient back to Color 1
Layers – Duplicate (Copy 2 van Raster 1)
Layers – New  Raster Layers (Raster 2)
Fill selection with Foreground Color

Selection – Modify – Contract : 2 pix
Press Delete on the keyboard
Selection – Modify – Contract : 2 pix
Fill selection with Foreground Color
Selection – Modify – Contract : 2 pix

Layers – Merge – Merge down    (Copy (2) van Raster 1)

Change Blend mode to Overlay and Layer opacity to 65

Activate the layer just below   (Copy of Raster 1)
Effects – Image effects – Seamless Tiling – Default
Change Blend mode to Soft Light

Activate bottom layer   (Raster 1)
Selections – Load/Save Selection – Load Selection From Alpha Channel – Selectie 1 – see PS

Selections – Promote selection to layer   (Promoted selection)
Layers – Arrange – Bring to top

Adjust your gradient from the beginning as follows – see PS

Selections – Modify – Select selection borders – see PS

Layers – New  Raster layer  (Raster 2)
Fill selection with gradient

Selections – Load/Save Selection – Load Selection From Alpha Channel – Selectie 2 – see PS

Activate and copy your tube of the woman's face
Edit – Paste as a new layer   (Raster 3)
Image – Resize : 85%, all layers NOT checked
Move the tube in the selection
Selection invert
Press Delete on the keyboard
Select none

Activate top layer    (Raster 2)
Layers – Merge – Merge down
Repeat 1x   (Promoted selection)

Resize if necessary but then change the position
You can change the color with the color changer tool.
