General preparations :
First install the filters that you did not have, before you open PSP !!
Open your tubes in PSP, duplicate them and close the originals.
Do not forget to remove the watermarks on the copies.

Choose a tube of a Halloween scenery and a Halloween woman

Alpha Selections : open  in PSP and minimize
1/ BL64_KaD_Alfakanaal (this image is not empty – it contains alpha selections)

Filter Preset : double click to install
1/ BL64_KaD_Extrude
2/ BL64-KaD_GradientGlow

Font : double click to install
1/ Bloody

Color palette :
If you work with your own colors, make your own color palette with the alpha channel,
so you can easily switch between your colors.

There are color differences in the different versions of Psp.
Therefore, use the html codes of the color palette to be sure,
that you have the same colors. Also when merging layers, there may be color differences.

THE TUTORIAL

When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

From now on I use the terms "MIRROR" and "FLIP" again.
Mirror: Mirror horizontal - Flip: Mirror vertical

Let’s get started.
Remember to save your work often.
Some print screens have other colors than the original.

Colors :

First create your own color palette, so that you can easily switch between your colors.
Use the Alfa_Kleurenpallet-6 in the materials for this.

Foreground: Color 1 – Dark blue/green color from KaD_HalloweenScenery5_Preview
Background: Color 2 – Slightly lighter from Color 1
Color 3: Light orange from KaD_HalloweenScenery5_Preview
Color 4: Darker than Color 3
Color 5: #800000
Color 6-1 :#ffffff
Color 6-2: #000000

Open the alpha channel : BL64_KaD_Alfakanaal
Window – Duplicate
Minimize the  original – we continue on the copy

Activate and copy : KaD_HalloweenScenery5_Preview
Edit – Paste into selection
Select none
Adjust – Blur – Radial blur – see PS

Plugins – Unlimited 2.0 – Unplugged Tools – Renaissance – see PS

Layers – Merge – Merge visible (Merged)

Activate and copy : your Halloween scenery tube
Edit – Paste  as a new layer   (Raster 1)
Adjust if necessary    (resize, sharpen, …)

Activate and copy : KaD_Halloween_Spiderweb
Edit – Paste  as a new layer   (Raster 2)
Image – Resize : 50%, all layers NOT checked

Adjust – Sharpness – Sharpen

Image – Mirror
Image – Resize : 80%, all layers NOT checked
Image – Free rotate : Right – 9 – Nothing checked
Press K – Pos X : 751 – Pos Y : 250 – Press M   HELP

Change  Background color to Color 4
Activate the “Text” tool with the following settings – see PS

Typ: HALLOWEEN

Layers – Convert to Raster layer   (Raster 3)
Plugins – Alien Skin – Eye Candy 5 – Impact – Extrude, Color 1:
Select the preset on the left : BL64_KaD_Extrude or enter it manually – see PS

Effects – 3D-effects – Drop Shadow : V&H 2 – 35 – 2 – Color #000000
Press K – Pos X : 280 – Pos Y : 512 – Press M

Layers – Duplicate (Copy of Raster 3)
Change Blend mode to Overlay and Layer Opacity to 67

Activate and copy : KaD_Halloween_Skull
Edit – Paste  as a new layer   (Raster 4)
Image – Resize : 30%, all layers NOT checked
Adjust – Sharpen – Unsharp Mask : 2 – 30 – 2 – no check marks
Effects – 3D-effects – Drop Shadow : V 0 – H 7 – 50 – 30 – Color #000000
Important regarding Point 18 : Complete this step : Druk K – Press X : 36 – Pos Y : 346 – Press M

Activate and copy : your woman tube
Edit – Paste  as a new layer   (Raster 5)
Adjust if necessary    (resize, sharpen, …)
Place her at the bottom against the edge on the right side

Activate the layer just below   (Raster 5)
Adjust – Blur – Gaussian blur : 15

If necessary   : Adjust – Sharpen – Unsharp Mask : 2 – 30 – 2 – no check marks

Layers – New Raster layer   (Raster 6)
Selections – Load/Save Selection – Load Selection From Alpha Channel  – Selectie 1 – see PS

Fill selection with Background color
Plugins – Graphics Plus – Cross Shadow – Default
Select none

Select the preset “BL64-KaD_GradientGlow” on the left or enter it manually – see PS

Set Layer Opacity to 67
